Best Time to Visit Punta Cana: Dreamy Sunset Anniversary Shoot – Jessica & Jacob

As seasoned photographers, we’ve witnessed countless beautiful love stories, each a unique and precious tapestry of emotions, moments, and shared experiences. But one of the most asked questions we come across is what time is the best time to get married?

Recently, we had the extraordinary opportunity to document the enchanting love story of one of our past wedding couples Jacob and Jessica, whose journey began amidst the breathtaking beauty of what was once known as Dreams Punta Cana, now the Jewel Punta Cana Resort.

Their love story unfolded against the backdrop of the stunning locale of Punta Cana, where they celebrated their marriage in 2020. The joy and love that surrounded them on their special day were palpable, and it was an honor for me to capture the essence of their love through my lens.

Fast forward to the present day, and we found ourself back in Punta Cana, this time at Hard Rock Hotel  for the wedding of a former bridesmaid of Jacob and Jessica’s. What a delightful surprise it was to reconnect with this incredible couple once again, their smiles just as radiant as we remembered. It turned out that the stars had aligned perfectly for us to meet again, and as fate would have it, Jacob and Jessica took the opportunity to commemorate their enduring love story through a wedding anniversary session.

As the golden caribbean sun dipped below the horizon Jessica and Jacob celebrated their third anniversary with a dreamy sunset photoshoot in front of the sparkling caribbean sea. The amber hues of the sun painted the sky in a breathtaking way. Jessica and Jacob’s experience serve as an inspiration for future brides and grooms showcasing the incomparable beauty that Punta Cana offers particularly in this time of the year.

October is one of our favorite months to do weddings. Why you ask. Because October sunsets offer an unparalleld setting for capturing moments. It’s not scorching hot outside making it unbareable for couples and guests, and it is the end of rainy season. You are able to enjoy the golden sunshine with endless amenities and less crowded spaces at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana during this time.

Whether it’s a wedding celebration, vow renewal, or intimate celebration of love, October is one of our favorite months to capture the precious memories you are creating. We recommend photo sessions to be taken early morning for a sunsrise session or just about two hours before sunset to make the most out of your time.
