Wedding Photography – Catalonia Beach Punta Cana – Sabrina & Kevin
As wedding photographers is very common being involved in all the wedding planning. We have been asked several times about what documents are required to get married in Dominican Republic having a destination wedding, whether you’re looking for a civil ceremony, religious or perhaps both. Hopefully, you can find some helpful information on this post.
The first thing that you should know is that there are no special requirements or complications to visitors from any nationality, but there are two particular situations to consider.
If any of the couple is a minor, they must have a notarized authorization signed by the parents or legal guardian. Likewise, in the case of any divorce couple, they must present a “Recent Divorce Act.”
Outside these special circumstances, the documents to be submitted are: birth certificates, sworn declaration of singleness, valid passport photocopy and photocopy of a picture I.D. All documents must be translated and certified by the Dominican Consulate.
Sabrina & Kevin carried out this process well in advance, and everything turned out great during their big day held at Catalonia Punta Cana.
This resort is located in Cabeza de Toro, very close to the airport. In addition, Catalonia puts at your dispatch its exclusive facilities to any ceremony or reception. One of its highlights is the wonderful Gazebo located on the seashore, of which includes seven restaurants, five bars, a spa and a golf course.
After the ceremony, the party moved to the beach bar. Laughter and tons of dancing were the common denominator of a night that gave us beautiful pictures of the newlyweds and their guests.
Thank you Sabrina & Kevin for choosing us as your wedding photographers. Our most sincere congratulations and wishes of everlasting and eternal happiness in your marriage.
