Some months can also be windier than others, so an updo might be your best friend—both beautiful and practical.

Weather & Season 

The dry season (December–April) is ideal for photo shoots, but even during the wetter months, early mornings tend to be beautifully clear.

That said, nature follows her own timeline—so it’s important to keep a flexible mindset!

If Mother Nature decides to surprise us with rain on the day of your session, no worries at all—we’ll happily reschedule as many times as needed to make sure you get the dreamy photos you deserve.

Permits & Resort Policies

If you’re planning to shoot at a private resort or property, it’s important to secure permission in advance—some locations may require a photo permit or a day pass.

In Punta Cana, most all-inclusive resorts charge a high vendor fee to allow outside photographers onto the property.

But don’t worry—we know all the ins and outs and have access to some beautiful alternative spots. You’ll still get the dream backdrop—without the hassle.
